Title: Graphical Methods
Book Description: The primary purpose of this laboratory is to begin to investigate and describe correlations between indexed variables (measured quantities) associated with data. We begin with a few scatter plots that describe certain data sets. We will begin to analyze the variables associated with this data both numerically, and graphically. In both methods of analysis, which complement each other, we are interested to discover correlations between variables, and, if we find them, ways to describe them. On the second page of the Lab is an exploration that will help you practice your graphing. Authors: James White and Dan Kalman
Suggested Use: Instructions are under the (?) button. The first page of this lab is a Report page and contains the lab assignment with space for students to fill in answers. This has been saved as Notes for that page. To open the report, return to the first page by pressing the Black Rectangle, then select Customize, Notes for this page. To close the notes before leaving the first page, select: Customize, Close Notes Topics: indexed variables, scatter plots, graphing Number of Pages: 3 Animation: Yes Grade
