Title: Graphical Methods

Book Description: The primary purpose of this laboratory is to begin to investigate and describe correlations between indexed variables (measured quantities) associated with data. We begin with a few scatter plots that describe certain data sets. We will begin to analyze the variables associated with this data both numerically, and graphically. In both methods of analysis, which complement each other, we are interested to discover correlations between variables, and, if we find them, ways to describe them. On the second page of the Lab is an exploration that will help you practice your graphing.
