Title: Linear Graphs

Book Description: In this Laboratory, we will study linear functions and their graphs. First, we review on this page basic graphing technique. This will give exercise in plotting points, and describing the line through a pair of points in a number of standard ways.

Authors: James White and Dan Kalman

Contained in Precalculus Course.

Suggested Use: Instructions are under the (?) button. For this laboratory, students are to write a self-contained, well-organized exposition and analysis of the issues raised. In this sense, the report differs from that of previous laboratories. Their aim will be to present an overview of the issues, articulating clearly what they are, and how they have been addressed. The report will thus be an essay whose aim is to present in a concise but clear way the computational and conceptual techniques that were explored. There is, therefore no report page for this laboratory.
