Title: Rational Functions

Book Description: The purpose of this lab is to give some experience with polynomial and rational functions, and in particular to see what can be seen easily about the relationship between the algebraic representation of a function and its graph. We have studied linear and quadratic functions, and now it is time to generalize those to the class of polynomial functions. In the second part of the lab, we shall examine an even more general class of functions: the rational functions.

Suggested Use: Instructions are under the (?) button. The first page of this lab is a Report page and contains the lab assignment with space for students to fill in answers. This has been saved as Notes for that page. To open the report, return to the first page by pressing the Black Rectangle, then select Customize, Notes for this page. To close the notes before leaving the first page, select: Customize, Close Notes
