Title: The Mirror Game

Book Description: You may recall a certain triangular game board. One finds it everywhere in roadside restaurants and diners. We call it the "Mirror Game". There are 15 red pegs arranged in the playing board. The first step is to remove one peg from the board. That leaves a "hole" or a vacant position on the board. The Player must have at least one vacancy to play. After that, the moves will be to "jump" one peg over another peg and to land in a hole...much like you do in checkers. You may only jump over one peg at a time. The idea is to finish with just one peg. The Player's objective in this book is to discover and explain why we call this old favorite the "Mirror Game." Here is the hint. If you play this game and win, then you have actually played it twice. Once forwards and once backwards!
