In order to take advantage of the new Microworld technology, you must have either Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine (MSJVM) or its new .NET Framework installed with Windows. Generally you will download the WEB version of the control because all versions of Windows before XP have the MSJVM, but Windows XP does not automatically install it. If you are using Windows XP or later and you cannot see the Microworlds in your browser after you have downloaded and installed MathwrightWeb below, but see a small rectangle instead, then return here, check the box below and press Submit and select Open to download and install the MSJVM (5 M). This will not disable any other Java Virtual Machines you may have installed.

Alternatively, you may want to download and use the NET version instead. The NET version is tied to Microsoft's new .NET initiative and will support a number of surprising extensions to Mathwright in coming years, but you can only use it if you have the .NET framework installed on your machine. We recommend you use the MSJVM for now.
